ABOUT WINTER VACATION
I had a very good winter vacation. In winter vacation, I went back to my home town.
At New Years Eve, I watched the Red and White singing contest with my parents. I was glad to watch EXILE. I thought the Red would win because the White had won the year before last. But the White won again. So I was surprised.
At New Years, I went to the practice of visiting a shrine or a temple at the beginning of the New Year. When I pulled out an OMIKUJI it had “SUE KICHI” (good lack to come) written on it. Is SUEKITI better than SHOU KICHI (modest luck)? I don’t know.
And I went to see the first selling in the New Year. I bought a grab bag. The contents of the grab bag were good more than I thought.

I want to eat a lot of food on this winter vacation. My dream is eating one-hall cake at Christmas. Don’t worry about calories or anything; just I want to eat cake I want. Cake will fruits tart, because I love it. If this dream would come true, I’ll so happy and I’ll have more weight since now. I have more plans. In my parental home, I eat many oranges with putting my feet in a KOTATU to get a warm. And I’ll eat buckwheat noodle eaten on every New Year’s Eve. Eating buckwheat noodle on the last day of the year is a custom of my family. (Also a custom of JAPAN) And I’ll eat OSETI and soup containing MOCHI. I have desired to realize this plan.

There are single-sex schools and co-educational schools. Each has advantages. In single-sex schools, you have a lot in common with your classmates. Topics of your conversation, value system and ways of thinking will similar. You can talk freely in your classroom. And you can also concentrate on studying, club activities and so on. In contrast, you can encounter more many way of thinking. You will learn how to talk, deal and cooperate with the opposite sex. There are some of the differences between single-sex schools and co-educational schools. We should carefully consider the merits and demerits of each when we choose own school.

I’d like to talk about Japanese festivals. What Japanese festival do you know? In Japan, there are many festivals through a year. For example, summer festival, Tanabata, snow festival, doll festival and so on…. But local festival is the most interesting and popular festival I think. Almost local festival holds in late summer or early autumn. Many people who live in the local attend that. They carry a portable shrine and dancing. Portable shrine is so gorgeous and beautiful. It is said that spirit dwells within it. Children play high drums or flute….etc in it. Many other people come to see it. There are a row of stalls that sells foods in the street. We can eat Takoyaki, Apple candy, Spun suger, shaved ice and the like. I used to go festivals to eat these foods in my childhood. Japanese festival may different from your country festival. It is interesting, so I hope you will come to see it someday.

When teacher wants to know the results of a quiz, sometimes he (she) tells his students to swap their papers. This way of paper swapping is popular among a lot of school. But there are proponents and opponents with regard to this issue. Proponents of paper swapping are largely teachers. They think that that is the quickest way to check students’ results. Teachers can save time, too. Proponents also say this practice excites students. On the other hand, opponents think that we should protect privacy of students. Some students don’t want other classmate to know own results. Thus, there are proponents and opponents with regard to this issue. We should be careful in deciding which stance to choose.

Many elementary school students have mobile phone now. Because of there are many crimes increasing nowadays. Parents seem to say their children to bring mobile phone for avoiding crimes. But my opinion is different. I think children shouldn’t keep bringing mobile phone as those for two reasons.
Firstly, elementary school students are children who have full of curiosity. However parents warn to their children, they may access to harmful web sites. Even if crimes on the rode decreasing, crimes on the Internet increasing.
Secondly, children become to use a lot of money by mobile phone. Of course they don’t only use it for prevention of crimes but also use it for contact with their friends. When mobile phone bill comes expensive, paying human is their parents.
Therefore, children shouldn’t have mobile phone since elementary school student.
ABOUT STRESS
I always have stress, but I don’t know what’s the reason. I think trivialities in everyday mekes me annoying. For example, mosquit is flying in my room, something which I need disappear, I forget to watch the TV program that I wanted to ……etc.
When I feel stress, I always go to KARAOKE. Stress has gone while I’m singing. So I sing many songs for a long times. And I eat a lot of snacks. Then It is important to forget to have weights.
I think the best way of removing stress is to do own favorite things.
